  Does the service work?  Are homes selling in the Portland Metro area?  
  Yes!  Our service has been extremely successful.  Your success depends on the price and condition of your home.  The housing market may be depressed but homes are selling and the Flat Fee Listing Service works.  
     
  Is your company local?  
  Yes!  Our office is located in Portland.  I'm licensed in Oregon. 
Be careful with Flat Fee MLS companies that outsource your listing. 
 
     
  RMLS Coverage Areas?  
  We are members of the RMLS.  The RMLS is the local MLS system for the Portland Metro Area.  We are no longer offering service in Washington.

  What is Multiple Listing Service?  
  It is the largest database of homes for sale in the world.  Real estate agents use the MLS to sell and locate properties for their clients.  The MLS is not available to the public.  You need a licensed real estate broker to list your property on MLS.

When you list your home on MLS it will also appear on thousands of websites including: RealEstate.com, ReMax.com, Realtor.com, JohnLScott.com....
 
     
  Is the MLS going to sell my home?  
  Yes.  The MLS is the most powerful marketing tool available today.  It gets your home in front of all real estate agents...And about 80% of buyers find their home on the MLS.  
     
  If I sell my home 'by owner' will I pay a real estate commission?  
  No.  If you sell your home to an unrepresented buyer you pay no commission only pay the initial flat fee.  
     
  Will agents want to show my house?  
  Buyer's agents will want to show your home because the Flat Fee Listing ensures that they will get paid if they bring you a buyer.  You decide how much commission to offer the buyer's agent (2.5-2.7% standard).  
     
How many buyers use real estate agents?  
  Over 80% of buyers use agents to help find properties.  Agents generally only work with pre-qualified, motivated buyers.  
     
  Does the Listing only cost $299?  
  Yes.  You will only pay us (the listing agent) a small fee of $299 (rather than the standard listing fee of 2.5-3%).  If you sell your home to a buyer who is not working with a Realtor, you pay Nothing but our flat fee.  
     
  Will my listing look like standard Full Service listings?  
  YES.  It will appear exactly the same as any other listing with a "full commission" realtor.  
     
  Will my phone number be on the listing?  
  Yes.  It will be the primary contact method for real estate agents to setup showings.  Buyer's (general public) will not see your contact information (MLS Regulations).    
     
  How long does it take to get my house listed on MLS?  
  We can generally list your property within 1-2 business days.  
     
  Who does the sale paperwork?  
  That is optional.  You can do it or we can take care of it for 1.5% of the final sales price.  If you choose to have us help you, we will handle the negotiations, escrow, paperwork and professional advice.  
     
  Can I make changes to my listing after it's active?  
  Yes.  Just email us with the changes you want to make.  Note that status changes (pending/sold/active) are free but content updates cost $25 (multiple changes can be made at one time).  
     
  Can I cancel my listing?  
  Yes.  You can cancel anytime.  Just email or fax us to cancel.  
     
  What are the next steps for listing my property?  
  1. Purchase the Flat Fee Listing
2. Fill out the MLS Information Form
3. We will email the listing paperwork for you to electronically sign
